Minutes Approval: A motion was made to accept the April 13, 2010 minutes as presented. The motion was seconded and approved. Treasurers Report: Financial statements were presented. Our current account balance is $3,670.00 (It was suggested to look into Burlington Glow Cleaners for less expense uniform cleaning) Fundraising: Carwash was deemed as a huge success! Suggestion of pushing pre-sold tickets earlier was mentioned for note in minutes. Directors Report: 71 students are going on the Heritage Festival Trip. The trip is all paid for and the final preparations are now being concerning: Uniform storage/ transportation/ boarder crossing (green cards for those students who need them) Mr. Scherr and booster group discussed private instructor scholarship. A maximum of 50% of weekly lessons as for scholarship was agreed upon. Upcoming events were also discussed: Jazz after dinner, McIntyre Concert, all city band concert and Band Awards night. Board Action: It was decided that this years officers would continue until the beginning of next year as to encourage the new 9th graders parents to get involved. Presentation: Picture frame was presented to Mr. Scherr of the MVHS Brass Quartet at state. A video of the quartets state performance was shown. The meeting adjourned at 7:10.
